Indy Fins Meet Information:

The psych sheets for Friday night have been posted. They have made major cuts and will only be swimming the top 24 swimmers in each event. Please make an effort to look at the psych sheet on the Fins website and a copy will be posted at the pool. The cuts affect several Duneland swimmers. I still need three parent timers for the afternoon session in Indy. Please let me know ASAP if you can help out. The afternoon sessions will be shorter than the morning sessions.

State Championship Meet Info:

Indiana Swimming has posted all information for the state meets on their website. There will be a state meet entry form available after the holidays with correct entry fees and surcharges.  I will post the Open Water packet today and it will be due on July 1^st. Please pay attention to surcharges and event costs. I will post the Senior State packet after the holiday and the Age Group State packet will be posted after conference. If you have not booked a hotel in Columbus I would recommend doing that right away.

There will be no meet at LaPorte on Tuesday, June 25th.  They are having pool problems.  Practices will be regular times.

The Duneland Swim Club will be hosting a picnic for Kyle Whitaker. Kyle will be competing in the U.S. Olympic Trials in four events. He will be leaving for Nebraska on the 28^th of June. We would like all Duneland swimmers and families to join the fun and wish him good luck. The picnic will be held at Dogwood Park from 5 pm until 7 pm. The team will provide hot dogs, buns, etc. Any parents that would be able to donate a side dish, chips, drinks, etc., please contact Brenda Campbell (926-4584) or Tami Bianco (508-9703). In addition, we are collecting $2 per family to help cover the cost of a good luck gift and supplies. If you would like to contribute you can put the $$ in the Campbell folder. We are hoping to keep the party a surprise for Kyle, however his family does know. Practice on Thursday will begin at 3 pm for all levels. Rides will need to be provided to the park. We hope everyone can attend to let Kyle know how proud the club is of his accomplishments!!

Look for the sheets on the table to sign up for the Crown Point dual meet for Thursday, June 12th.  Swimmers need to be on deck by 4:45.  The meet is at Crown Point High School.

No practice Friday, June 6th.  The weekend meet in Columbus, IN, starts that day.

If your swimmer participated in the Union Township Invite over the weekend, there will be a picture taken on Wednesday, May 21st at 5:10 pm.  Please have the swimmers bring their ribbons and high point trophies for the picture.
